About Eliza...

Bristol Choir Brigade is a modern community choir of around 40 members, based just outside Henleaze in Bristol. We pride ourselves in our energy and enthusiasm, together with a real sense of community!

Choir director, Eliza, set up Bristol Choir Brigade in 2016 and writes all her own arrangements, with a mix of pop, soul and rock through the ages, with the odd mashup here and there, all in 3 or 4 part harmony. Our rehearsals are structured, supportive, and full of fun.

Anyone with a voice can join; there are no auditions or sheet music, just turn up and sing the songs you know and love. We learn songs by ear with mp3 guides to practice with at home. There’s no pressure to sing solo (unless you want to!), and plenty of opportunities to perform in exciting venues such as St George’s throughout the year.

We go to the pub after every rehearsal - alternating between The Gloucester Old Spot around the corner and The Grace on Gloucester Road. They look after us well!
